The problem
The customer (a previous customer in Gotha), called with water leaking issues and gurgling noises coming from her air handler unit. It was soon found that the drain pan and pipes were severely clogged; this was quickly cleared out.
One of our technicians returned a few days later and found there was a leak with the evaporator coil and it was out of warranty.
We ordered in the replacement coil from Trane and fitted by the end of the month. The new coil was brazed in and put under vacuum to 500 microns, then charged.
