Customer called because their condensing unit wasn’t coming on. They said that there was no water present around the unit.
When our technician Joe turned up at the property on Flag Place, he found that the condenser fan motor was running but at very high ramps: 1.6 compared to its rated 0.75.
When asked the customer said that it hadn’t been running the day before and he switched the system off. The condenser most likely overheated however it was noted that the customer needed a new condenser fan motor.
The condenser fan motor was replaced two days later after the part had been ordered in. It was replaced under manufacturer’s warranty.
