The problem
The customer was experiencing poor airflow in the master bedroom and children’s bedroom
The duct feeding into the master bedroom was 7in and capable of 110cfm of air. After diagnosing it was found that the room needs 270cfm of air.
The duct feeding the child’s bedroom was 6in and capable of 75cfm of air. The room needed 143cfm of air for adequate cooling.
The rooms also had missing supply and return vents.
The customer was quoted for the modification work and it later took place the same week.
Quote included:
Add 1 new 8″ supply duct run, and 1 6″ duct run, as well as an 8″ Return in the bedroom.
Price includes new ducts, boots and grills and labor.
Upstairs
Add 1 new 8″ supply duct, and 1 6″ supply vent, with 1 more 9″ return vent.
Price includes new ducts, boots and grills and labor.
