The customer called on May 30th 2022 (Memorial Day) with the problem that her AC was not cooling, not good with the summer fast approaching in Winter Gaden!
Our master technician Mohamad turned up the same day and completed a diagnostic on the system. He found that the unit had frozen over.
After defrosting the system our technician verified that the freezing over was due to the restriction of airflow rather than low refrigerant. The filter had 100% restriction, which had caused the lack of airflow which led to the evaporator coil freezing over.
The client was happy to replace the filter from her own supply herself.
Polar Express did not charge extra for the callout on this holiday day.
