Customer called November 2021 with a smart Trane system that was producing no heat and multiple error codes. Fortunately the system was still under warranty from their install in April of the same year.
Our technician Mohamad turned up at the home on Elderberry Court, Clermont, he had soon identified the problems.
Mohamad found that the system was not communicating with the condenser.
The existing condenser was outputting 7.4 VDC but the system required a minimum of 13.4 VDC to communicate with the condenser.
Our technician set up the Nexia smart home system (by Trane) and showed the customer how to use it to control his heating and cooling.
